Dr. Decker is a Minnesota native, originally from Savage. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota -Duluth. She then went on to pursue her doctorate at Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine located on the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts.  

Laura and her husband, Stefan, share their home with one mastiff mix, Aspen and two kitties, Jet and Stoli. They adopted all three of their pets while they were living in St. Kitts.  

Laura’s veterinary interests include general surgery, dentistry, cardiology, and alternative medicine. Her favorite part of being a veterinarian is building long term relationships with her patients and clients. In her spare time she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
