Dr. Amber Dequaine

Dr. Dequiane grew up in Northeast Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor’s degree from UW-River Falls and her doctorate at the University Of Minnesota College Of Veterinary Medicine.   

Dr. Dequaine has a special interest in lameness, orthopedics, canine sports medicine and reproduction. She particularly enjoys working with hunting dogs and performance dogs. Dr. Dequaine has certifications in veterinary spinal manipulation therapy (“animal chiropractic”) and canine rehabilitation therapy (“canine physical therapy”), and is trained in veterinary acupuncture. Her favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is to use her additional training in sports medicine to keep hunting and performance dogs performing at the top of their game.

In her free time, Dr. Deqauine is very active with her dogs. She provides game recovery services for local hunters with her beagle mix, Archer, participates in cover dog trials and learning to upland hunting with her English Setter, Forest and participating in NACSW with her miniature dachshund, Sophie.
